Greetings film-maniacs!
So yesterday, Deadline reported that Disney has a
sequel to Tim Burton's 2010 Alice in Wonderland in development. The
title for the sequel is Through the Looking Glass. Through the Looking Glass
is the same name to the sequel to the Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in
Wonderland.
Deadline is also reporting that Sacha Baron Cohen
is in early talks for a role in this new sequel.
I hate to say it, but this news isn't interesting
at all. I watched Alice in Wonderland and that was enough for me. Also,
Tim Burton is not directing this either. This film is being directed by James
Bobin, who recently directed The Muppets. And I must say that as the huge
Muppets fan I am, I loathe that film.
Through the Looking Glass stars
Mia Wasikowska and Johnny Depp. It releases in theaters on May 27, 2016.
So film-maniacs what do you think of this news,
hate it, love it, don't care?
